- An Update Plan entitles customer to receive and install software updates during the period covered by such an update plan
- Update Plans can be purchased in course of a new product purchase within the first 12 month after license activation (within the initial update period of the license)
- Update Plans can be purchased as part of a product upgrade.
- Update Plans can be purchased as an extension for a previously purchased valid update plan.
- An Update plan is only valid if it is gap-free from day of license activation.
- Customized update plans and periods are subject to case by case negotiation with SAIMOS.
